True Story:

This past weekend, my wife asked if I’d prepare the dough for some hot cross buns, which she was going to finish making later in the day.

I made a batch of the dough, but it didn’t look like it was rising correctly, so she asked if I’d make another batch. “We’ll need more than this anyway,” she said.

So I made more.

We went out for a few hours, and when we returned, I went back to the kitchen to check on the status of the dough.

My wife, who was helping our children get organized near the front door, shouted: “Is it risen?”

You can see where this is heading.

“It is risen indeed!” I responded.

And so it was.

And so He is.
