Enter the Story
We are the clay, God is the potter. We are the creatures, God is the creator. We are the characters, God is the author.
The Bible uses all of these and other metaphors to explain our relation to God, “the creator of all you can see or imagine.” (Isaiah 40:11, in The Message)
At St. Philip the Deacon, we believe that God is continually and always calling us into relationship with him. We believe that God wants us, the characters in his story, to know him, who is the author of all life.
We invite you to join us on this journey.
We invite you to worship with us at one of our five weekend services — Saturday at 5:30 p.m.; Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.; and Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
We have new member workshops monthly, and we invite you to join us for one of these informal sessions to learn more about the church and its ministries. Contact the church office for information on the next session.
To meet some of our members, visit the Profiles from St. Philip the Deacon category in these pages. God bless you.
